Detroit Assurance received its inspiration from its parent company Daimler which showcased the Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025. Detroit Assurance will include features such as active braking assist, adaptive cruise and lane departure warning.

DTNA’s Truck Operating System (TOS) takes the lead when it comes to our dynamic manufacturing processes that result the safest heavy duty trucks. TOS is responsible for making sure that the high quality, cost-effective, safe trucks are delivered in a timely manner.

We have a specific team who has been tasked with examining Freightliner’s safety features, and making sure that each truck meets driver needs. Our testing methodology includes utilizing a state-of-the-art wind tunnel, cold chamber, and shaker tests. These tests allow us to verify that our trucks can protect drivers during the harshest of weather conditions and tough enough to perform in all types of terrain.

Another key element to our testing methodology includes actual test drives as oppose to simulations. We drive millions of miles a year and learn about our trucks from each experience. This feedback is then utilized in our quest to provide the safest heavy duty truck on the market.
